POLITICO’s Peter Nicholas reports that one of the key challenges in the water treatment industry is figuring out what the heck is in your water, and that the most common chemicals are not what you think they are.
The EPA says it is looking into what the public is actually putting into their water, but its not clear how well it will be able to do that.
The EPA’s latest study of water quality in New York State was released Friday and it has yet to be released.
It will look at water quality and its impact on health, including illnesses, as well as economic impacts.
But the agency doesn’t have the resources to keep doing research into the health effects of water pollution.
