After being sidelined for more than a year with a calf injury, De St Maurizi will make his debut against Vicenza at Stadio San Paolo on Wednesday night.
The 26-year-old defender will be a huge boost to Milan’s defence, and could see his contribution in the starting XI against Vicenti.
The former Chelsea, Inter and Juventus man will arrive in Italy with a history of injury problems.
Milan’s last visit to Vicenza was in October last year, when he played a part in their 2-1 defeat to Napoli in the Coppa Italia.
The Rossoneri have a host of international stars, including Leonardo Bonucci, Mauro Icardi, Alessandro Florenzi and Gianluigi Buffon, but have yet to find the net.
De St Maurisao has scored five goals for Milan this season, including three against Milan.
The Italian international has featured in the past three matches in which he has been available.
